Welcome! I’m Tony G.
Hi! I’m Tony G and I want to give you the tools you need to not only reach your guitar-playing goals, but to be able to approach any style with confidence.
My goal over the last 10 years of teaching has been to take a student of any age or experience level and elevate their playing by showing them how to play guitar instead of what to play on guitar.
When it comes to struggles with the guitar, I’ve seen them all. Whether you think your fingers are too short, you think you’re too old or you put in hours and hours of practice but aren’t seeing the results you want, my fundamental approach to the guitar will show you how to overcome any struggle and get the results you want, quicker and easier.

I’ve been playing guitar for about 10 years…probably an intermediate level player, or at least I’d like to think so…but while going through this book, I realized several key fundamentals and critical techniques that I had either lost along the way, or never really understood to begin with. The book is great, Tony’s teaching style is perfect for any level. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I’m brand new to guitar with no music playing history whatsoever. Tony’s teaching is excellent and I highly recommended this book and his others to everyone. Through the excercises laid out in this book, I’m now playing chords and learning the transitions between them. Thanks for writing this book and being such a great teacher, Tony!
I’ve studied with Tony for almost two years now and have made great progress. He is an excellent teacher. He makes it interesting and fun. This book has become my core go to learning tool. I have serious short term memory loss from a motorcycle accident and many surgeries so I’m constantly utilizing the learning tools given in Tony’s book when I’m away from my teacher. I’m really looking forward to checking out more of his books as I get better. Thank you Tony for helping me learn this amazing instrument and firing up parts of my brain I never thought possible again. Starting to really shred and loving it!
